• Woman's Day (March 8th): A historically significant holiday tied to the Soviet era.
• Workers' Festival (May 1st): A historically important celebration, though its current significance is lesser.
• Be respectful regarding politics, particularly sensitive topics such as the Second World War. When in the diaspora, do not display the official national flag in public, as the old national flag is preferred. Recognize that initial communication may be reserved; establishing trust takes time, although a public smile is generally reserved for close contacts.
