Sobre este día festivo

St. Justus commemorates Justus, the fourth Archbishop of Canterbury. He reportedly arrived in England in 601 after being sent from Italy by Pope Gregory the Great to Christianize the Anglo-Saxons. He became the first bishop of Rochester in 604 and was instrumental in encouraging the adoption of the Roman method for calculating Easter's date among the Celtic church. He participated in a church council in Paris in 614.
