• In Quebec, adhere to stricter rules regarding public displays of religion (laïcité).
• While tolerant, overt proselytization may be considered rude.
• Canada is generally a polite and multicultural society. When entering private homes, remove shoes unless told otherwise. Be mindful and respectful of the diverse histories and cultures of Indigenous peoples. Also, be aware of regional sensitivities, particularly regarding Quebec's status.
