• Cherry blossom viewing (Hanami) in March or April leads to crowded tourist areas and heavy travel.
• Summer features local festivals (Matsuri) and fireworks (Hanabi), including Tanabata on July 7th.
• The Awa Odori is a notable festival held during the Obon period in Tokushima.
• Travel is highly congested during New Year's period (Oshōgatsu).
• Chopsticks (箸) are common for meals, though spoons are provided for items like ramen, curry, and soup. Hand towels (o-shibori) are provided for hands only.
