• Follow traditional European dining etiquette. When dining with hosts, always ask permission before leaving the table and accept second helpings as a gesture of respect. Avoid resting elbows on the table and do not sit in the corner. Regarding drinks, a firm refusal is often necessary, but payment etiquette may vary, so observe your dining companions.
