- Expect that direct questions regarding life or salary are commonly asked and are not considered impolite.
- Show deference to authority figures and older people.
- Respecting elders is important. When visiting churches, dress modestly and remove hats (for men). Starting conversations with small talk is customary before discussing serious topics. When visiting a home, bring a small gift and avoid appearing aloof.
Sobre este feriado
Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, also known as Armenian Martyrs Day, is observed annually on April 24th in Armenia and the former Republic of Artsakh. The holiday commemorates the Armenian genocide of 1915, which involved the mass massacre and starvation of an estimated 1.5 million Armenians by the Ottoman Empire. Commemorations often include large gatherings and processions, such as those held at the Tsitsernakaberd Genocide Memorial in Yerevan.
