• Easter (Lieldienas): Annual traditional events, such as egg fights, are observed in April.
• Summer Solstice (Vasaras saulgrieži): Traditional celebrations are hosted in various locations, including Sigulda.
• Latvians are generally reserved and value personal space; casual greetings with strangers are uncommon. Avoid discussing salaries, finances, or deeply held political/religious beliefs in public. Littering is illegal. Thoughtful acts, such as holding doors, are appreciated.
