About this holiday
Epiphany (known as Three Kings' Day in Slovakia) commemorates the arrival of the Three Wise Men (Magi) who presented gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to Jesus. While Western Christianity recognizes it as a major feast day, Eastern Christianity observes the event on Christmas Day.
